I was so unbelievably excited to see heavy nods to great literature in the London Opening Ceremony last night. From quoting Shakespeare, to a reading of Peter Pan by JK Rowling and an array of evil villains—I was thoroughly delighted. Mary Poppins(s) flying in from the sky was icing on the cake. One of my favorite opening ceremonies ever.

Absolutely loved this cute, short and beautifully illustrated book. Not only does Lulu (and Mr. B) learn an important lesson, but the author’s asides make it a true joy to read. One of my new favorites.
