The Library of Congress and UNESCO unveiled the World Digital Library, this massive undertaking looks quite promising and the website is intuitive and easy to use—not something always associated with digital libraries. The above picture is a mathematical treatise by Muḥammad b. Abi al-Fatḥ Muḥammad b. al-Sharafī Abi al-Rūḥ ‘Īsā b. Aḥmad al-Ṣūfī al-Shāfi‘ī al-Muqrī, written in 1491-92 (897 AH).
