The creation of Winnie-the-Pooh will be the subject of a new film.
According to The Daily News’s Page Views blog, Goodbye Christopher Robin, “will explore A.A. Milne’s life between 1918 and 1930 and will disclose details of his relationship with his son, their bond over ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ and how fame affected their lives.”

Shooting is planned for the summer of 2014.

Yesterday, author Maureen Johnson had a great idea. She tweeted “I do wish I had a dime for every email I get that says, “Please put a non-girly cover on your book so I can read it. - signed, A Guy” - and so came the idea for a challenge for her 77,000 followers. One of the things that I love about Science Fiction and Fantasy is the platform it provides for the author to explore difficult issues. In this book Kessel explores gender dynamics while telling great stories and keeping the reader entertained. I’d recommend it even for non sci-fi fans.
